About The Sewing Room
We are very sorry but due to the National Lockdown we are closed. For any enquiries about existing alterations or anything other, please use our Contact Form accordingly.
I started alterations way back in the 80’s in the Sewing Room at George Henry Lee’s, now known as John Lewis! I’ve always had a passion for sewing to the point of designing and making my own wedding dress and had a long standing ambition to start my own business. So, the most natural thing for me was to open the shop in Heswall, bringing my ambition to life in 2014!
Naturally, my interest in design and sewing has come from my Mums passions. I specialized my studies in fashion design, before starting my career working in various fashion head offices. I combined all of this knowledge in 2015 and opened The Sewing Room of West Kirby! Since then my passion for design has flourished and you will more than likely find me working with brides to create bespoke looks with their gowns.
Attention to detail, no corners cut, high quality work.
